Job Posting: Adult Programs Coordinator/Library Assistant

Due to the retirement of a longtime colleague at the end of January, the Edgartown Public Library is seeking an organized, outgoing, creative, and tech-savvy Adult Programming Coordinator. Under the general direction of the Library Director, this position is responsible for developing, planning, promoting, and hosting both virtual and in-person adult programming that provides a culturally relevant, engaging, and inspiring roster of events for a devoted following of patrons, all year long.

Our next Programs Coordinator will also have the opportunity to work with an upbeat, entertaining, and professional staff that will support and embrace this transition.

Bachelor’s degree required; a strong arts background and familiarity with online scheduling software are preferred.

Full-time (35-40 hours/week) year-round schedule includes evenings and Saturdays. Wage is $25.98 - $34.19 in 8 steps, with full benefits.
