Drop-off: 10:30am - 4pm
Drop your stuffie off at the library for a sleepover, and then pick them up the next day and hear all about their overnight adventures! All ages welcome.

Thanksgiving Boredom Buster Bag Pickup
Starting Monday, November 25
Come by the Children's Room during our open hours to pick up an activity kit filled with plenty of things to keep you busy over the Thanksgiving break. Kits will be available for all ages, while supplies last.
Vineyard Scavenger Hunt
All month long in the Children's Room
Grab your clue sheet from the Children’s room desk and venture out to find all the special local items around the Vineyard. Turn in your completed clue sheet for a prize!
Mondays with Maria
Mondays (no program on 11/11)

Join Maria Moreira every Monday for a unique drop-in activity. The activity theme will change each month; November will be fashion design! For ages 8 and up.
Drop-in Play-Doh Group
Tuesdays
10:30am - 12pm
Create and play using our collection of Play-Doh and sculpting toys in the Children's Room. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Pint-Sized Picassos
Wednesdays
10:30am - 11:30am
Drop in and use the library’s collection of paints to create a masterpiece each week. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Fit Camp with Bonnie Kingsbury

This after-school youth fitness program will offer healthy activities incorporating simple cardio, agility, and mind-over-matter drills. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Wiggle with the Words

Join Elyce in the Program Room for a movement-based storytime using fun props and interactive stories. This program is geared toward ages 1-5, but all are welcome. No registration required.
Big Little Muscles with Abbey

Join us for this program focused on promoting physical health for young children. Led by Abbey Entner, we will start with opening stretches and movement, then open play with tumble toys and music. Geared toward ages 1-5, but all are welcome.
Story Walk at Sheriff’s Meadow Sanctuary
The Edgartown Library and Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation have partnered to bring you a story walk every month.
This self-guided activity takes place at the Sheriff's Meadow Sanctuary and is for children of all ages and their caregivers.
Kids Services
Board Game & Activity Stations - Come check out the board game and activity stations in the Children's Room. We've got classic games like chess and Candy Land, as well as fun tabletop games like Llamanoes. Activities include puzzles, coloring pages, and more.
After School Crafting - The Children's Room is open every day after school for open crafting time! There will be all sorts of crafting supplies available for kids to make any artful creations that come to mind.
