Summer Reading Program Graphic

Summer Reading Program

Starts Tuesday, June 18

Starting June 18th, visit the library to sign up for the Summer Reading Program and receive an Adventure Begins at Your Library Summer Reading Program welcome bag and reading log. Keep track of the books you read (or have read to you) and bring your completed log back to the library to receive a stamp. Collect stamps to earn prizes!

The Summer Reading program has been generously funded by the Friends of the Edgartown Free Public Library as well as our sponsors at Edgartown Meat & Fish, Candy Bazaar, Edgartown Pizza, and Great Harbor Market.

Visit the library every Friday throughout the summer to pick up a mystery bag with your own stuffed animal to read to and keep. While supplies last.

Active Moves with Jenna Graphic

Active Moves with Jenna

11am - 11:45am

This class, taught by early childhood expert Jenna Robichau, focuses on transitioning beyond basic movement patterns. Timing, rhythms, and weights of movement will teach children to self-regulate their bodies and find balance. Geared toward ages 3-5, but all are welcome.

Story Walk at Sheriff’s Meadow Sanctuary

The Edgartown Library and Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation have partnered to bring you a story walk every month.

This self-guided activity takes place at the Sheriff's Meadow Sanctuary and is for children of all ages and their caregivers.

Kids Services

Board Game & Activity Stations - Come check out the board game and activity stations in the Children's Room. We've got classic games like chess and Candy Land, as well as fun tabletop games like Llamanoes. Activities include puzzles, coloring pages, and more.

After School Crafting - The Children's Room is open every day after school for open crafting time! There will be all sorts of crafting supplies available for kids to make any artful creations that come to mind.
