Fit Camp with Bonnie Kingsbury Graphic

Fit Camp with Bonnie Kingsbury

3:10pm - 4:10pm (no program on 6/20 or 6/27)

Kids can get their bodies moving on the library lawn, weather permitting. This after school youth fitness program will offer healthy activities incorporating simple cardio, agility, and mind over matter drills. No registration necessary. For kids 8 and older.

This program has been generously funded by the Friends of the Edgartown Free Public Library.

Create and play using our collection of Play-Doh and sculpting toys in the Children's Room. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Come to the library for this joint program with the Family Center on Wednesday mornings. Caregivers and children will read, discover, and explore a new theme together each week.

Do you have a LEGO-crazy kid? They can meet up with fellow LEGO fans and play with the library’s stash. This is an opportunity for kids of all ages to get creative and build anything they choose. Kids can either work on their own creations, or build as a team.

Join Elyce in the Program Room for a movement-based storytime using fun props and interactive stories. This program is geared toward ages 1-5, but all are welcome. No registration necessary.

The Edgartown Library and Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation have partnered to bring you a story walk every month.

This self-guided activity takes place at the Sheriff's Meadow Sanctuary and is for children of all ages and their caregivers.

Summer Reading

Starts Monday, June 27

Starting June 27th, visit the library to sign up for the Summer Reading Program and receive an Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Program welcome bag and reading log. Keep track of the books you read (or have read to you) and bring your completed log back to the library to receive a stamp. Collect stamps to earn prizes!

The Summer Reading program has been generously funded by the Friends of the Edgartown Free Public Library, as well as our sponsors at Edgartown Meat & Fish, Dairy Queen, Edgartown Pizza, and Rosewater Market.

Kids Services

Children's Librarian On the Go - Can't make it to the library? Sign up for this service! Children's Librarian Elyce will hand-select materials and craft bags to be delivered to your door up to four times per month. Email email hidden; JavaScript is required for more info.

Board Game & Activity Stations - Come check out the board game and activity stations in the Children's Room. We've got classic games like chess and Candy Land, as well as fun tabletop games like Llamanoes. Activities include puzzles, coloring pages, and more.

After School Crafting - The Children's Room is open every day after school for open crafting time! There will be all sorts of crafting supplies available for kids to make any artful creations that come to mind.
